Legacy of Faith Endowment
Vision – To create a perpetual financial foundation for Union Springs Academy while strengthening our programs for future generations. This endowment will ensure we continue to provide access and uphold our commitment to excellence in Adventist Education while we eagerly anticipate the second coming of Jesus.

Purpose – The Union Springs Academy Legacy of Faith Endowment Fund will serve as a cornerstone of long-term stability, reducing reliance on annual tuition increases and providing predictable, mission-aligned funding. The interest from this endowment will provide tuition assistance to USA students in need.
Governance – The Union Springs Academy Legacy of Faith Endowment Fund was established in 2026, and operations are managed by the Board of Finance Committee of the New York Conference Executive Committee.
Goal – $10,000,000
Scholarships & Funds
Alumni Generational Scholarship – For USA students who are a child or grandchild of an alumnus.
Class of ’55 Scholarship – Established by the Class of 1955 as a financial need-based scholarship.
Class of ’61 Lombard & Puebla Scholarship – Created in memory of Carl Lombard ’61 and Bill Puebla ‘61. Presented to graduates preparing for music or pastoral ministry.
Class of ’88 Music Scholarship – For a 10th through 12th grade USA student who shows interest and excels in music, one whose musical ability impacts the school and helps strengthen Union Springs Academy’s music program.
Dick Tibbitts Leadership Award – An annual award presented to a junior who demonstrates outstanding leadership, as recognized by both the student body and faculty.
Gail Riddick Loress Masondo ‘69 Scholarship – For junior or senior female students of color who show leadership potential in school, church, community or civic spheres of service.
Gary Raymond ’66 Memorial Scholarship – For USA 11th graders who excel in athletics and sportsmanship. This scholarship was given in loving memory of Gary Raymond ’66.
John B. Foote ’68 Memorial Scholarship – Established in memory of John Foote ’68 for a 10th grade boy residing in Capman Hall who has a strong work ethic and a positive impact on Union Springs Academy.
Kathryn Osterblom Scholarship Endowment – Established in memory of Kathryn Osterblom Eusey ’37 for New York students in need of financial assistance.
Lucille Cardinell Nursing Scholarship – Created in loving memory of Lucille Cardinell by her family. For graduates pursuing a career in nursing.
Ron Doane Memorial Fund – Established in 2025 in memory of Ron Doane ’72 for students who arrive from home without adequate clothing or other basic essentials.
Spirit Award Scholarship – Created for 11th grade students who show a significant interest and ability in either history or writing, or who play a major role in supporting the institution.
